What: A fun event to distribute backpacks and school supplies to 700 middle and high school students in need from the Beaverton School District.  Students will pay $5.00 and receive a new backpack and age-appropriate supplies. 

Why: A gap exists in the community with a lack of age appropriate supplies for older students (6^th-12^th grade).

Who: The attendees at the event include students, parents, church & community volunteers.

When: Saturday, August 21, 2010      11am-1pm

Where: Merlo Station High School, 1841 SW Merlo Drive, Beaverton

How: Our goal is to mobilize the church and community to help provide resources to meet this critical need.
